Billboard that I designed

At my internship were are working for a company that makes refrigerators. They asked us to design some billboards for them. 1 of my ideas go picked, (the big one on the bottom). It wasn't my first choice but the client gets to choose. Below the photos are some of the related sketches.

On a side note. I really hate advertising especially billboards and when they are this big but it is neat to see your idea actually produced and paid for by someone else.

Beastie Boys- Hello Nasty reissue

I just spent way too much for this:
  • 4 pieces of 180 gram Vinyl featuring the deluxe remastered album and 21 bonus tracks and rarities (43 tracks total)
  • 8 panel gatefold package, a special Hello Nasty Collectors Edition patch, and hardcover "coffee table book" case
  • Limited to only 1,500 sales
  • Immediate album & b-sides download: Premium DRM-free 320kbps MP3, FLAC, or Apple Lossless
  • Collector's Vinyl will ship after 10/30/09
This was the first CD I ever bought. To this day this album is in my top 10. I think its their best so I couldn't help ordering this special edition package. You can too, at http://hellonasty.beastieboys.com/buy_hn/

The Mixtape Club

http://www.themixtapeclub.org/
"The Mixtape Club, dedicated to the art of the mixtape. Ten people, ten tracks, ten album covers. The inaugural session just launched with mixes by designers, photographers and creatives from around the world."- Notcot.org

"A good compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do. You've got to kick off with a corker, to hold the attention and then you've got to up it a notch, or cool it a notch, and you can't have white music and black music together, unless the white music sounds like black music, and you can't have two tracks by the same artist side by side, unless you've done the whole thing in pairs and... oh, there are loads of rules."
